Can my Elysee Mane piece be coloured or styled?
Yes. While we focus on creating the perfect match from the beginning, your piece can be professionally coloured should your natural hair change over time. The hairpiece can be styled with heat tools (at appropriate temperatures) and can accommodate most styling preferences, from elegant updos to flowing waves.

Will people be able to tell I'm wearing a hairpiece?

THE CONSULTATION PROCESS

What happens during the consultation process?
Our consultation begins with The Private Selection Experience, where you'll receive our consultation box containing ethically sourced hair swatches, texture samples, and personalised colour matching materials. This is followed by a virtual appointment where we'll discuss your specific needs, preferred styles, and design a bespoke solution for your wedding day and beyond.

Do I need to come to London for fittings?
No. Our process is designed to accommodate clients worldwide. Through our detailed virtual consultation process and precise measuring instructions, we can create perfectly fitting pieces without in-person appointments. However, London-based clients are welcome to schedule in-person consultations if preferred. We are always happy to travel to you for consultations if preferred too.

How far in advance should I order my hairpiece?
We recommend beginning the consultation process 4-6 months before your wedding day. This allows ample time for consultation, design, creation, and any adjustments that might be needed. For brides with tighter timelines, please contact us to discuss expedited options.

Why is there a consultation fee?
The £250 consultation fee covers the cost of your Private Selection Experience, including premium hair swatches, customised colour matching, and expert consultation time. This fee is fully deductible from your final investment, ensuring that clients who proceed with their bespoke piece effectively receive the consultation complimentary.

ETHICAL SOURCING & MATERIALS

What does GBIH-certified mean?
GBIH certification ensures that every strand used in your hairpiece has been ethically sourced with full traceability, fair compensation to donors, and adherence to the highest ethical standards. As a GBIH-certified atelier, we provide documentation verifying the ethical journey of your hairpiece.

What type of hair do you use?
We exclusively use premium virgin human hair that has never been chemically treated. Each donor's hair is carefully selected for exceptional quality, shine, and longevity. We never use synthetic blends or lower-quality processed hair in our bespoke creations.

How do I attach my hairpiece?
Your Elysee Mane piece includes a secure attachment system custom-designed for your comfort and security. Depending on your specific needs, this may include premium clips, silicone strips, or other specialty attachments. A detailed attachmen guide is provided with every piece.

How do I care for my hairpiece?
Each Elysee Mane creation comes with personalised care instructions. Generally, pieces should be washed with professional hair products, stored on a specialist stand when not in use, and protected from excessive heat or friction. We offer maintenance services should your piece require professional attention.

Can I travel with my hairpiece?
Absolutely. Your Elysee Mane piece includes a custom travel case designed to protect your investment while traveling. Our pieces are crafted to withstand various conditions, from mountain breezes to beach humidity, making them perfect companions for destination weddings and honeymoons.

Do you offer maintenance services?
Yes. We offer comprehensive maintenance services including cleaning, repairing, and refreshing your hairpiece. As your needs change, we can also provide modification services such as adding length or volume to your existing piece.
